Recuerdas que la semana pasada Chuck y yo estuvimos en una ofrenda bastante peculiar con motivo al Día de Muertos?! Pues te cuento que este es el segundo año que México recibe a la Fórmula 1, y PUMA organizó una fiesta al estilo único de Red Bull Racing. El piloto Daniel Ricciardo, en conjunto con algunos invitados especiales, pusieron una ofrenda simbólica a través de cuatro momentos principales. La talentosa Mariana Echeverría personificó a La Catrina y fue la anfitriona del evento, el cual incluyó al versátil guerrero Uriel del Toro colocando el papel picado, Gabriela Graf volando en el aire mientras esparcía pétalos de Cempazúchitl para marcar el sendero de los muertos, y calaveras montadas en motocicletas. En el último acto, el piloto de la F1 encendió la luz dentro del Ofrendomo, superando los obstáculos. Creo que es una ofrenda muy poco común y fuera de serie y sin duda es de las más extravagantes que hemos visto Chuck y yo, justo hoy estaremos en la búsqueda de más ofrendas en snap e instaStories ;). Did you remember last week Chuck and I were at a very particular and peculiar offering because of the Day of the Dead here in Mexico?!  Daniel Ricciardo, the F1 driver and some special guests symbolically set an offering through four big moments.  Mariana Echeverría personified as “The Catrina”, hosted the event, that included the versatile warrior Uriel del Toro, a flight through the air spreading Cempazúchitl flower petals by the beautiful model Gabi Graff, and some skeletons riding motorcycles.  In the final act the F1 driver lighted up the fire inside the Offrendome, after defeating Death in a thrilling battle.  I think it was a very rare and peculiar offering and certainly the most extravagant Chuck and I we've seen, right now we are looking for more offerings, go and check it out SNAP e InstaStories ;) (@ Good Selfie Mx)

No te disfraces para HALLOWEEN!

No te disfraces para Halloween, si no te quieres disfrazar!!! La verdad es que yo amo y odio los disfraces en esta temporada. Amo los disfraces, cuando se organizan fiestas en las que el disfraz es obligatorio y todo mundo se pone súper creativo y el proceso de crear el disfraz suele ser lo más divertido! Asi que eso me encanta! ♥ Lo que no me gusta es cuando de pronto las "modas" de los disfracen hacen notoria la inexsistente creatividad por todos lados, ejemplos? quien no recuerda la plaga que nos invadió hace un par de años con Black Swan y que seguramente este año se repetirá con Harley Quin?! o Maléfica y Catrinas de "moral distraída y relajada" por todos lados?! jajajaja pero bueno; la verdad es que si se quieren disfrazar o no, HAGAN LO QUE QUIERAN! jajajaja finalmente lo importante es sentirte cool contigo misma sin importar lo que los demás digan, no crees?! 

Lo que les quiero decir es que si no tienen una fiesta de disfraces en puerta, creo que también esta padre subirse al "mood" de las fiestas y tradiciones e ir a visitar ofrendas o recorridos del terror en las ciudades históricas de nuestro México, escuchando leyendas de ciertos lugares ancestrales; y por qué no, ponerte un vestido con un color obscuro o propio de la temporada, un buen par de botas (como son esta preciosidad de Hispana que aparte son COMODÍSIMAS, están super acolchadas de todos lados, entonces siento que ando en pantuflas y para nada en botas! ;), un accesorio divertido y un maquillaje un tanto "darks" y LISTA! jajajaja. Cuentenme que harán para estos días de muertos?! Yo seguramente visitaré varias ofrendas tradicionales aquí en Cuernavaca, que son una invitación abierta para todo el pueblo, literal! Asi que no se pierdan mis redes para que les enseñe un poco de la tradición por estos rumbos!

Don't wear Halloween costumes, if you don't want to!!! The truth is that I love and hate costumes at this season. I love costumes, when parties are organized and wear a custome is part of the rules so everyone gets super creative and the entire process of creating, usually, is the most fun part!!! So I love that! What I don't like is when everyone wear same custome and the lack of creativity is everywhere, examples? who doesn't remember a couple of years ago, that Black Swan plague and I'm pretty sure this year is coming too with Harley Quin?! Or Maleficent and Catrinas in a stripper style?! hahahah well... the truth is that if you want to custome or not, DO WHATEVER YOU WANT!!!! hahaha Finally the important thing is to feel cool with yourself no matter what others say, isn't i?! (just please be creative!!!) 

So precisely what I want to say is that if you don't have a costume party, I think it is also a good idea to be on Halloween mood and visit our traditions like the offerings, terror tours in our historic cities of Mexico listening to our ancestral legends; and why not? wear a dress in a dark color of the season, a good pair of boots (like this preciousness from Hispana who are very comfortable, I feel that I'm in slippers and nothing in boots ;) a fun accessory and makeup with something dark. So tell me, what are you gonna do for these holidays?! I surely will visit several traditional offerings here in Cuernavaca where it is an open invitarion for all the town, literally!
