Como les conté hace un par de días, el fin de semana pasado Chuck y yo fuimos a un lugar hermoso en Guerrero, México llamado MIL CASCADAS. El lugar es de lo más hermoso que hemos visto y pasar el día ahi sin duda fue una mágica experiencia. Parte de nuestro estilo de vida, es de pronto escaparnos de todo y refugiarnos todo un día con la naturaleza. Sin duda este tipo de experiencias nos encantan y nos funcionan como un perfecto break para descansar, desconectarnos de todo y tomar energía renovada para seguir adelante en nuestro día a día. Asi que sin decirles más, prefiero que las fotos hablen mas que yo en esta ocasión! ;)

As I told you a few days ago, last weekend Chuck and I went to a beautiful place in Guerrero, Mexico called THOUSAND WATERFALLS. The place is the most beautiful we have seen and spending the day there certainly was a magical experience. Part of our lifestyle, is suddenly get away from everything and have a day with nature. Definitelly we love these experiences and they work for us as a perfect break, a perfect time to get disconnect from everything and take new energy to move forward in our day by day. So I dont want to tell you anymore, I prefer the pictures speak more than me this time! ;)

Hola AMIWUIS!!! Que tal su fin de semana? Espero que la hayan pasado increíble!!! Cuentenme en los comentarios qué tal la pasaron!!! Si me siguen en mis redes sabrán que este fin de semana me fui a un lugar MÁGICO!!! Mil cascadas se llama el lugar que visité y en verdad puedo jurar que eran 1,000 o muchas más, la naturaleza es hermosa y la amo!!! Toda la historia completa esta en mi Snapchat y un poco también en mi Facebook, puedes entrar aquí. 

Y pues nada amiwuis hoy he decidido hacerles una confesión o más que eso, quiero compartirles un poco de mi vida con Good Selfie. Sin duda, dedicarme a esto es de lo que más he disfrutado en toda mi vida!!! No lo niego, es mucho trabajo pero sin duda lo disfruto muchísimo y por ello, es básico e indispensable (al menos para mí) el trabajar en un ambiente lindo. Despertar cada mañana en un espacio lleno de luz, textura, calidez y con toques intensos de color, son mi máximo para sentirme inspirada y con toda la energía para iniciar el nuevo día. 

Me parece que como blogger y como mujer "girly-fashion", hay 3 habitaciones clave que vale la pena invertirles tiempo, dinero y esfuerzo para crear un concepto único. Esos 3 puntos clave para mi son: 1) estudio (área de trabajo), 2) vestidor-clóset y 3) recámara. 

Hace un par de semanas, les conté que Chuck y yo estamos acondicionando la oficina de Good Selfie, por lo que encontrar a HOMIFY ha sido una inspiración total, sus imágenes y su blog nos han dado muchos tips y consejos para nuestra remodelación, pues sin duda la oficina perfecta debe ser un lugar donde encuentras comodidad para trabajar con los accesorios y el entorno más apropiado.

En cuanto al vestidor-clóset, qué les puedo decir?! Yo creo que ese espacio es el sueño de toda mujer! Entrar y tener la decoración perfecta de tu clóset o vestidor!  que todo este perfectamente ordenado, donde puedes ver todo clasificado y poder elegir qué usar como si estuvieras en una tienda...pff!!! Sin duda ese es espacio es como un sueño!!! Siento que yo podría vivir en mi vestidor! hahahaha 

Al final del día, cuando estas exhausta y sientes que ya no puedes más con tu alma, llegar a tu recámara hermosa donde todo es tranquilidad y descanso...pfff!!! es como tener el cielo en la tierra!!! Una recámara armoniosa, es vital! pues es un lugar muy íntimo en donde también pasamos mucho tiempo cuando nos enfermamos o donde toda la magia sucede cuando alguien nos sorprende con un rico café o el desayuno completo! ;D ( you know! haha aquí les comparto un poco de esos momentos ;) 

Creo que en esta ocasión me extendí un poco con el post! hahaha pero en verdad quería!  contarles (como plática entre amiwuis) y mostrárles esta parte de mi. Una de las cosas que disfruto mucho de ser blogger, es ir a diferentes restaurantes y cafés a tomar un poco de inspiración y trabajar en todo lo que es Good Selfie, asi que en este post les comparto unas fotos en un día normal de mi blogger diary!!! hahaha De igual forma, les cuento que el Denim on denim me parece de lo más versátil para usar pues las posibilidades son infinitas! En este post quise usar este top de crochet que tiene un impreso tipo denim con unos jeans y pop de color con mis zapatos rosas que muero de fascinación por ellos y quiero usar TODO el tiempo! En estas ultimas temporadas hay miles de cosas en denim, asi que el día en que menos sepas qué ponerte, solo aplica el DENIM over DENIM, un toque de color y lista! Espero que tengan un fin de semana deli! GRACIAS POR PASARSE POR AQUI! :D

El pasado jueves, tuvimos la oportunidad de asistir a la subasta de AeroGives en apoyo a la fundación Dr. Sonrisas. La subasta tuvo lugar en el hotel St. Regis de la Ciudad de Mexico, en donde un total de 40 perros de cerámica que previamente fueron intervenidos por personalidades del espectáculo, arte y moda; algunos de ellos como:  CD9, Yuri, Moderatto, OV7, Jeans, Belinda, Gloria Trevi, Martha Chapa, Gabriela Sodi, Tony de la Mora, entre otros; fueron subastados para que con los fondos recaudados se puedan cumplir más sueños y seguir apoyando en el tratamiento emocional de niños y niñas con distintas enfermedades. La verdad es que la noche fue sumamente divertida y en lo personal, me enamoré de varios perros. Les dejo unas fotitos del evento! La verdad es que los perros estuvieron lo maximo!

Last thursday, we had the opportunity to attend the AeroGives auction in support to Dr. Smiles Foundation. The auction was held at the St. Regis Hotel in Mexico City, where a total of 40 ceramic dogs that were previously operated by celebrities, personalities of art and fashion; some of them as CD9, Yuri, Moderatto, OV7, Jeans, Belinda, Gloria Trevi, Martha Chapa, Gabriela Sodi, Tony de la Mora, etc...; were auctioned to the funds raised can be met more dreams and continue to support the emotional treatment of children with different diseases. The truth is that the night was very funny and personally, I fell in love with several dogs. I leave some photos of the event! Dogs were the best!

Llegó el fin de semana y con ello, la idea perfecta de pasar una tarde increíble de amigas. Qué hicimos?! Pues cosas típicas de amiwuis: reímos, comimos pizza, bailamos, echamos el chisme y por supuesto que pasamos una tarde deli probando productos nuevos y compartiendo secretitos de belleza, pues una de mis super amiwuis youtubers es Majo! Ella es MakeUp Artist y claro que nos dejamos transformar con cada pincelada de su magia, la idea en general era lograr un maquillaje que tuviera un efecto de haber sido besada por el sol, o bien...como si nos hubieramos ido a la playa y recién hubiéramos regresado con ese brillo radiante en nuestra piel! jajaja ;D

Sin duda, pasamos una tarde deliciosa en una terraza coqueta entre bloggers y youtubers, que terminó siendo una colaboración con un toque boho, chic, glam y sobretodo lleno de confesiones entre amiwuis!!! No pudimos evitar tomar muchísimas fotos e inclusive terminamos grabando un video de nuestra sesión de MakeUp, asi que les presento a Becky de FabBecky, Diana de Fashion & Macarons y Majo Torres MakeUpArtist y su canal de Youtube. No se pierdan todas las fotitos y sobre todo el video!

Weekend comes with the perfect idea to spend an amazing afternoon with my friends. What we did?! Just a typical girly stuff: we laughed, ate pizza, we dance, had a little gossip and of course we spent an amazing afternoon testing new products and sharing beauty and fashion secrets, because one of my besties in Youtube world is Majo! She is MakeUp Artist and we let her transform us by her magic hands! The main idea was to get a sunkissed efect with makeup, as if we had gone to the beach and we had returned with a very special radiant light!! hahahha ;D

Certainly we spent a delightful evening on a pretty terrace between bloggers and youtubers, which ended up being a collaboration with a boho, chic, glam touch and with the best part, full of confessions between friends!!! We could not avoid to take lots of pictures and even a video recording our makeup session, so I introduce you to Becky from FabBecky, Diana Fashion & Macarons and Majo Torres MakeUpArtist from Youtube. Si me siguen en mi Facebook y Snapchat, seguro se dieron cuenta que la semana pasada estuvimos en los Privalia Fashion Blogger Awards 2016. El hotel Camino Real Polanco Beef Bar  fue la sede de la quinta versión de los premios y cabe reconocer que Privalia ha sido de los pioneros en apoyar a los bloggers cuando aún ni siquiera el concepto "blogger" era conocido en México. Recuerdo que desde hace 5 años y más sigo a grandes bloggers que me inspiran a seguir día con día y que les confieso que tuve emoción total de haberlas conocido en este evento, me sentía como niña chiquita de poder estar ahi con ellas y verlas pasar la estafeta a nuevas generaciones de Bloggers, además de pasar una noche deli con mis ya amigas bloggers de Fashion & Macarons y Aldifashion.

El evento estuvo conducido por Daniela Magun y Chantal Torres, el concepto de la fiesta fue "Neon Tattoos", con aerógrafo nos pusieron varios tattos que sólo se veían con luz negra; tomamos un par de drinks y la pasamos bomba conociendo a todos los bloggers. If you follow me on my Facebook and Snapchat, you realized that last week were at the Fashion Privalia Blogger Awards 2016. Camino Real Polanco hotel Beef Bar was the place for the fifth version of the awards and I should recognized that Privalia has been a pioneer in supporting bloggers while the term "blogger" even was known in Mexico. I remember more than 5 years ago when I followed great mexican bloggers who inspire me to follow day by day and I have to confess that I was so excited to meet them in this event, I felt like a little girl being there with them and watch them encouraging to us as a new blogger generation. Also we had a great night spending the night with my bloggers friends from Fashion & Macarons and Aldifashion.
The event was hosted by Daniela Magun and Chantal Torres, the concept of the party was "Neon Tattoos", we got some tattoos airbrushed only seen with black light; We had a couple of drinks and had a great time knowing more bloggers. If you want to know the biggest winners of the night? Well.. the list is above in pink! ;)

Hola a todas!!! Hoy les tengo un post MUY especial para mi, pues estas fotos las tomamos como celebración a mi cumpleaños que fue ayer 14 de Junio. Cuando tomamos estas fotos me la pase INCREÍBLE como niña feliz jugando con mis globos!!! :)  Debo confesarles que en realidad no soy muy fan de mi cumpleaños! me encantan todas las celebraciones y los cumpleaños de todo mundo (soy de las más argüenderas para ellos) pero para el mío como que mmmmmm meh! No sale la misma inspiración. De hecho, les confieso que este año quite las notificaciones de facebook con el fin de saber quienes realmente se acordaban de la fecha sin que fuera por la costumbre, en que hemos caído todos, de que Facebook siempre nos recuerda los cumpleaños (incluida yo! jajajaja). Hubo algunas pistas que también delataban mi cumpleaños pero sinceramente fue un experimento muy interesante y que volvería a repetir!!! XD Quizá es por el hecho de ser geminiana pero creo que los cumpleaños son una cuestion muy dual, puesto que por un lado se celebra el cumplir un año más de vida y al mismo tiempo es un día menos que nos queda para el resto de nuestras vidas! hahaha es muy poco complejo pero por otra parte, es un día excelente para tener un poco de reflexión personal y plantearnos nuevas metas y propósitos para nuestro nuevo Año NUEVO!!! Asi que muchas gracias por estar presentes en mi vida, y muchas gracias por el amor y la buena ondita que siempre me dan! GRACIAS POR PASARSE POR AQUI! GRACIAS!

Hello everybody!!! Today I have a very special post for me, because these pictures we take them as my birthday celebration yesterday June 14. When we take these pictures I spend an amazing time playing like a happy girl with my balloons!!! :) I must confess I'm really not a big fan of my birthday! I love all the celebrations and birthdays of everyone, but for mine as it like mmmmmm meh! Inspiration doesn't come out. In fact, I have to confess that this year I removed facebook notifications in order to know who really remembered the date without being noticed by facebook (this new social media habits we've all fallen when Facebook always reminds us birthdays, including me! LOL). There were some clues that also gave away about my birthday but honestly it was a very interesting experiment and would repeat!!! XD Maybe it's because I am gemini or I don't know but I think birthdays are a dual issue, since on one hand is to celebrate a 1 more year with life and at the same time is one day less than we have for the rest of our you lives! hahaha is very complex but on the other hand, is an excellent day to have a little personal reflection and ask ourselves new goals and purposes for our new New Year!!! So thank you very much for being present in my life, and thank you very much for the love and good vibes you always give me! THANK YOU FOR PASSING BY HERE! THANK YOU!

Definitivamente una de las combinaciones que más me gusta es el blanco con negro, me parece que es lo más básico, clásico e indispensable que jamás pasará de moda y algo con lo cual, simplemente, no te puedes equivocar! Pero qué pasa si a ese blanco con negro le agregas un toque de color? PUM!!!! me encanta!!!! un color fuerte y potente que se une perfecto a los clásicos, la verdad es que me parece un comodín super fácil de adaptar a muchos outfits y que sin duda te pueden sacar de muchos apuros! Ah y si le agregamos un pequeño toque shiny shiny, es perfecto aun si se tratan de piezas para estar muy cómoda, tal cual como es el outfit del día! Espero que les guste! Definitely one of the combinations that I like the most is black & white, I think it is the most basic and classic that you can never go out of style and something which simply you cannot go wrong! But what if you add a touch of color??? PUM !!!! I love it!!!! a strong and powerful color that joins perfectly with the classics, the truth is that it seems a wildcard super easy to adapt into many outfits and you certainly can avoid many troubles! Oh, and if we add a little shiny shiny touch, is perfect even if the parts are very comfortable, just as this outfit of the day is about! Una de mis tendencias favoritas sin duda son los prints! Me encanta combinar diferentes estampados y hacer diferentes locochonas capas! La clave para poder hacer este tipo de combinaciones esta en que los prints deben tener al menos 2 colores en común para que no se pierda la armonía visual. Asi que espero que les guste este outfit muy de verano! listo para iniciar una nueva semanita!! Qué les parece? que tal su fin de semana?! ;) 

One of my favorite trends are prints! I love to combine different patterns and make different and crazy layers! The key to doing this kind of combinations is that the prints must have at least 2 colors in common to maintain a visual harmony. So I hope you like this spring-summer outfit! Gracias a Dios es VIERNES!!!! y con toda la actitud para iniciar el fin de semana!!! En mi ciudad, ultimamente los días han estado lluviosos! Y como ya les he contado sobre esta parte mía!
